Day 1: NJP RLY STATION / BAGDOGRA AIRPORT – PHUENTSHOLING

Upon welcoming you at Bagdogra Airport, you will meet the representative/driver and transfer to Phuentsholing. After reaching and checking in at the hotel, complete formalities at the border to entry into Bhutan followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: PHUENTSHOLING - THIMPHU

After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On the way, stop at places to view scenery and for Photography. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 3: THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING

Starting the day with breakfast, followed by the first place to visit The Kuenselphodrang. Then visit the National Memorial Chorten built in the memory of the Third King of Bhutan and visit the Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, we visit Sangaygang View Point that offers a stunning panoramic view of the entire Thimphu. On the way back visit the Takin Preserve Centre and the Changangkha Lhakhang followed by an overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 4: THIMPHU - PUNAKHA/WANGDUE SIGHTSEEING

A breakfast drive to Punakha/Wangdue with a quick halt at Dochu-La-Pass to view the higher Himalayas. On arrival at Punakha, check-in at the hotel, we move on to visit Punakha Dzong in the afternoon and free leisure in the evening followed by an overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue.

Day 5: PUNAKHA/WANGDUE - PARO SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast drive to Paro, we stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park on the way. Followed by arrival and check-in at the hotel. Later we visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, and religions in the afternoon, then visit The Rinpung Dzong with an overnight stay at Paro.

Day 6: EXCURSION TO TAKTSHANG MONASTERY

After breakfast, drive to the base of the abode of gods and monks, the Taktshang Monastery, explore the ramparts, and experience an unforgettable view of Mt. Jhomolhari. On the way back, visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Bhutan followed by an overnight stay at Paro.

Day 7: PARO HOTEL – PHUNSHOLING (200 KM / 4-5 HRS)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Phunsholing. On arrival, check-in at the hotel with dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: PHUNSHOLING – BAGDOGRA (200 KM / 4-5 HRS)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Check all documents at the border gate counter and transfer to Bagdogra to drop at the Airport.
