Bhutan Tour Itinerary (6 Days)
Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Drive to Thimphu (60 km / 1.5 hrs)
Arrive at Paro International Airport, meet our representative, complete immigration formalities, and begin your journey to Thimphu.
Transfer to the hotel in Thimphu and check-in (early check-in subject to availability).
Begin panoramic sightseeing in the capital city, visiting Memorial Chorten, Kuensel Phodrang (featuring the giant Buddha Dordenma), Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo, and the BBS Tower offering a scenic valley view.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided sightseeing tour of Thimphu.
Explore major attractions including the Folk Heritage Museum, Royal Textile Academy & Museum, Anim Dratshang (Nunnery), Trashichhodzong Fortress, and the Handicrafts Emporium.

Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha (100 km / 3 hrs)
Have breakfast at your hotel and check out before driving to Punakha.
En route, stop at Dochu La Pass to enjoy 108 Chortens and panoramic views of the Eastern Himalayas on a clear day.
Upon arrival in Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong, Punakha Suspension Bridge, and Chimi Lakhang — the temple of fertility.
Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 4: Punakha to Paro (125 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, begin your scenic drive toward Paro.
On arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Paro Valley which includes a visit to Drukgyel Dzong (historic fort ruins), Kyichu Lakhang (one of Bhutan’s oldest temples), and the National Museum of Bhutan.
Check into your hotel, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Paro.
Day 5: Paro Day Excursion
After breakfast, choose between two excursion options:
Option 1: Drive to Chele La Pass, the highest motorable point in Bhutan at 12,200 feet, offering stunning views of Mt. Jhomolhari and surrounding ranges.
Option 2: Embark on a trek to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), Bhutan’s most iconic site perched on a cliff — a 2 to 3-hour trek each way.
If time permits, visit Paro Dzong, known for its traditional architecture and scenic location.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Paro.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Paro International Airport.
