Day 1: Arrival in Paro and Drive to Thimphu (60 KM / 1.5 Hrs)
  • Arrive at Paro Airport, meet with our representative, and complete immigration formalities before transferring to Thimphu.
  • Check-in at the hotel (early check-in subject to availability).
  • Enjoy panoramic sightseeing in Thimphu including the Memorial Chorten, Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Dordenma), Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo, and BBS Tower with a beautiful valley view.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
  • After breakfast, proceed for a full-day private sightseeing tour of Thimphu.
  • Visit the Folk Heritage Museum, Royal Textile Academy & Museum, Anim Dratshang (Nunnery), Trashichhodzong (a majestic fortress), and the Handicrafts Emporium.
  • If visiting on a weekend, enjoy the vibrant local weekend market.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha (100 KM / 3 Hrs)
  • Have breakfast and drive toward Punakha via the scenic Dochu La Pass, which offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the Eastern Himalayas and features 108 Chortens.
  • Upon arrival in Punakha, check-in at the hotel and then visit Punakha Dzong, Punakha Suspension Bridge, and Chimi Lakhang – the temple of fertility.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 4: Phobjikha Valley Excursion (2 Hrs One Way)
  • After breakfast, head out for a day excursion to the serene Phobjikha Valley, known for its scenic landscapes and as a winter habitat for the endangered black-necked cranes.
  • Visit the iconic Gangtey (Goempa) Monastery perched on a small hill overlooking the valley.
  • Return to Punakha and, for adventure lovers, optional white water rafting can be arranged.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 5: Punakha to Paro (125 KM / 4 Hrs)
  • After breakfast, check out and drive to Paro, passing through lush valleys and picturesque landscapes.
  • Upon arrival in Paro, check-in and proceed for local sightseeing including Drukgyel Dzong (ruins of a historic fortress), Kyichu Lakhang (one of the oldest and most sacred temples), and the National Museum of Bhutan.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Paro.
Day 6: Paro Day Excursion
  • After breakfast, choose between two iconic excursions:
  • Option 1: A scenic drive to Chele La Pass, the highest motorable road in Bhutan (12,200 ft), offering panoramic views of Mt. Jhomolhari and surrounding peaks.
  • Option 2: A guided trek to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), Bhutan’s most famous site perched dramatically on a cliffside (2–3 hour trek).
  • If time permits, visit Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong), a fortress-monastery with stunning architecture.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Paro.
Day 7: Departure
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out, and transfer to Paro International Airport.
  • Depart with warm memories from the peaceful Kingdom of Bhutan.
